The Crown reserve system aims to optimise the social, recreation, environmental and economic benefits to the community.
Crown Lands Division (CLD) is committed to the sustainable management of Crown reserves and provides unique natural settings for everyone to enjoy a range of affordable recreational and leisure experiences.
Some popular Crown reserves include our 17 state parks, caravan and camping sites, and walking and canoe trails.
CLD maintains and promotes the wide range of tourist facilities available on Crown land across NSW and is a sponsor of the Local Government and Shires Association 2011 Tourism Conference.
The local government tourism conference presents a platform for councillors and council staff to meet, listen to experts and peers, and find out how other councils are engaging and managing their tourism industry.
