The Crown Lands Division is pleased to be involved the Sculpture by the Sea exhibition.
The world-famous Sculpture by the Sea is one of Sydneys top cultural events, attracting more than half a million visitors to many of Sydneys idyllic Crown reserves from Bondi to Tamarama, boosting the local tourism and arts industries. The exhibition highlights one of the many possible activities available to the people of NSW using Crown reserves.
Crown land is reserved by for many purposes, including public recreation, showgrounds, sports grounds, nature reserves, public halls, environmental protection areas and local parks.
The Crown reserve system aims to optimise the social, recreation, environmental and economic benefits to the community by working in partnership with other government agencies, local government, trust boards, private enterprise, industry and community groups.
