Access for Prospecting Licence

The LPMA grants an Access for Prospecting Licence to mining and exploration companies seeking access over a Crown reserve for the purpose of prospecting for minerals defined in Schedule 2 of the Crown Lands Regulation 2006.

The licence provides access arrangements as specified in the Mining Act 1992 and the Petroleum (Onshore) Act 1991 and includes compensation payable to land owners under these Acts. To find out more about the Access for Prospecting Licence go to:
