The State Property Authority Division is the NSW Government's preferred acquisition, management and disposal agency. Through its Divestments, Acquisitions and Development Group, the Authority provides strategic advice, research and analysis on property transactions.
It undertakes a range of property transactions and development activities on behalf of government agencies, with a particular focus on multi agency capital works. The Group implements strategies to dispose of surplus property, and acquires land and properties for the construction of properties for government services.
Staffed by experienced and qualified property professionals, the work performed by this Group includes:
- disposing of surplus government properties
- providing expert advice to government agencies on property sales
- acquiring land and properties to support improvements to government services
- lead all multi-agency property proposals linked by timing, location or use.
