Applications Open for Killalea State Park Trust Board

The term of the current Killalea State Park Trust Board is coming to an end and applications are being invited from the community for the next five year term.

The Killalea State Park covers approximately 265 hectares of coastal reserve with some of the best beaches on the NSW South Coast.  With coastlines, rainforest areas, wetlands and seabird breeding areas, Killalea is popular for day trips, educational groups, boating, surfing and fishing.

A general information evening on the roles and responsibilities of trust board members will be held at The Links Golf Club function room at Shell Cove at 5.30 pm on Wednesday, 6 July 2011 for interested persons.

Successful applicants will be responsible for the care, control and management of the reserve in a voluntary capacity.
