If your Trust has been busy doing lots of great work during the last year then why not let everyone know by entering the annual Land and Property Management Authority-sponsored Crown Reserve Trust Award in 2011.
The award recognises the important work trusts do for their community and is part of the NSW and ACT Regional Achievement and Community Awards which encourage and reward outstanding individuals, communities and groups in regional and rural NSW and the ACT.
The Crown Reserve Trust Award honours the terrific job done by communities managing public land and the work done by reserve trust administrators, such as councils, with separate awards.
Last year’s winners were the Banjo Paterson Park Trust (community trust award) and the Silverton Village Community Reserve Trust (corporate managers’ award).
The call for submissions for this year’s awards will be launched in May and open for several months. The winners receive a generous prize to invest for the benefit of the trust as well as the valuable exposure that success brings.
Further information about the awards will be available through Awards Australia on 1300 735 445, the Awards Australia website, or your local Crown Lands office.
