Did you enter the Crown Reserve Trust Award category at this year’s NSW and ACT Regional Achievement and Community Awards?
If so, you could be in line to win a $5,000 AwardSaver account, courtesy of Commonwealth Bank, to help your trust do even more to maintain and improve the valuable community assets you look after.
Nominations closed on Friday, 13 August and the winners will be presented with their awards at a ceremony on Saturday, 30 October.
The Crown Reserve Trust Award, sponsored by the Land and Property Management Authority, is designed to recognise the work done by the volunteers, local communities and councils who manage local Crown reserves and look after community assets like parks and showgrounds.
The award is in two divisions – the Community Trust Award for community volunteer trust boards and the Corporate Managers Award for reserve trust administrators, such as councils.
Last year’s winners were Broken Hill Regional Events Centre Reserve Trust (Community Trust Award) and Lady Denman Management Committee, Huskisson (Corporate Managers Award).
Further information about this year’s awards and previous winners is available on the Awards Australia website.
