Nominations are now open for the 2011 Crown Reserve Trust Award, so why not highlight your Trust’s achievements and put yourself in with a chance of winning.
Sponsored by the Crown Lands Division of the Department of Primary Industries (DPI), the award honours the terrific job done by communities managing public land and the work done by reserve trust administrators, such as councils, with separate awards.
It is part of the NSW and ACT Regional Achievement and Community Awards which encourage and reward outstanding individuals, communities and groups in regional and rural NSW and the ACT.
Last year’s winners were the Banjo Paterson Park Trust (community trust award) and the Silverton Village Community Reserve Trust (corporate managers’ award).
Nominations close on Friday, 5 August. Judging will take place on Friday, 23 September and the winners will receive their awards at a special gala presentation dinner on Saturday, 5 November at the South Tweed Sports Club.
Further information and nomination forms are available through Awards Australia on 1300 735 445, the Awards Australia website, or your local Crown Lands office.
